3/6-7/07 I went up to the property Tuesday evening and came home Wednesday morning.

I took Gus to the hospital for a couple of problems on Tuesday morning and left for the property at 3:30 PM. I arrived at 6:00. There was still enough light to move my stuff in but not enough time left to do any work. I checked out the varnish job from last week and I was happy with how the logs look. I had my dinner, did some reading, and went to bed early.

First thing Wednesday morning Ellen called me and told me that our cat Teddy was having an emergency so I agreed to come home right away. I fixed my breakfast, packed up and left for home at 8:00. I didn't get any work done at all. Teddy died on 3/8/07.
