7/28/25 Ellen and I went up to Camp Serendipity for 1 day: Monday.
The purpose was to shoot video scenes for showing my stonemasonry activities. We arrived at about 10:30, opened the cabin, and walked to the grave. Then we had lunch, and I changed into my work clothes. Ellen shot video clips as I hauled a sack of mortar from the truck to the work site. Then she shot more as I selected stones, hauled them down, washed them, set them on the scaffold, placed them in the wall, tipped them back against the concrete wall, sprayed them and the mortar board with water, and then mixed up mortar batch number 150.
Then I mortared the stones in place on the wall and tuck pointed the joints. Then she did a panorama shot of the newly laid stones and another panorama shot of the entire wall.
After I cleaned up, we left for home and put together the video titled "Stonemasonry at Camp Serendipity, 7/28/25".
