Log Home Pictures from 2008, Part 4 of 5

5/20/08 Brian Kemly with his checklist and the electrical equipment to be loaded in the truck to wire up electric service to the cabin

5/20/08 The electrical equipment loaded in the truck. You can just see the tops of the big spools of big wire in the truck bed.

5/24/08 Brian and his wire puller attached to the meter base pole. You can see the conduit in the trench.

5/24/08 The pull to the bottom is complete. There is enough wire left on the spools to complete the run inside the house. Bill Edson is looking at the spools.

6/4/08 The old temporary pole is on the left; the new meter-disconnect is on the pole to the right.

6/4/08 A view of the conduit run up the hill from the driveway. You can see the temporary staircase going up the cliff.

6/4/08 The temporary staircase and part of the granite cliff has been scraped clean where the concrete stairs will go.

6/5/08 A view of the support structure for the wheelchair ramp to the back porch as seen from the trail to the privy.

7/24/08 Forms for the staircase as seen from below.

7/24/08 View of the forms for the upper flight showing the rock cliff and the temporary stair. You can see where the rock was cut to accept the stringer.

7/24/08 This shows the stringer fastened to the tree trunk. It was either cut the tree or cut a chunk out of the stringer.

7/24/08 The pencil marks on the stringer show how nicely the concrete steps will fit into the rock without too much more chiseling.
